PROFILE
Dr. Ivan Bartoli is Professor in the Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) Department at Drexel University. He received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Structural Engineering from the University of California San Diego, in 2005 and 2007; a “Laurea” in Civil Engineering (with honors) and a Ph.D. in Mechanics from the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Bologna in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He has been on the faculty of the CAEE Department since 2010 when he began his research work into civil infrastructure assessment. Dr. Bartoli is a member of the American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT). He is currently conducting and supervising research on Structural Health Monitoring, Nondestructive Testing, and theoretical topics related to the condition and resilience of infrastructures. He is the author of more than 200 publications among journal articles, conference proceedings, and technical documents.
